The Eaton Hall vision
Eaton Hall Shooting Ground nestled in the Derbyshire countryside spans 80 acres and offers the very best in clay shooting, rifle and air rifle experiences. The ground also features a fully equipped gunroom, country clothing room, professional tuition, café and corporate facilities – proudly standing as a premier plus CPSA ground offering something for every visitor.
Under new ownership and with a fresh name launching at the start of 2025, Eaton Hall Shooting Ground has undertaken a remarkable transformation. Syd, Amy, Sam, Clive and the entire team have developed an exciting new vision, with major plans being rolled out throughout the year.
We’ve already made huge progress, starting with our brand-new, state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot clubhouse. The impressive facility houses a country clothing room, gunroom, café, events space, meeting rooms, training rooms, along with a wide range of additional amenities.
The shooting ground itself has been fully renovated, now featuring undercover 4 Compak & sportrap layouts, 7 skeet and trap layouts, undercover stands for beginners, rabbit alley, 2 high towers, pattern plate, the valley featuring 15 sporting stands, additional 6 sporting stands, 50 metre 22. Rimfire and air rifle range and running Boar range. The addition of tarmac paths and on-site buggies ensure a comfortable and accessible experience for all visitors.
The next phase of development, following Home Office approval for our full-bore rifle range, will introduce a heated and fully covered rifle range extending to 300 meters, as well as 200 and 100 metre open air ranges.
Eaton Hall Shooting Ground is growing fast, and we can’t wait to share every step with you. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just starting out, we’ve got the perfect place for you to learn, relax and enjoy.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR NEW CLUB HOUSE
The opening of our new clubhouse will also see a change in our opening hours, opening 7 days a week. Our clothing room will be stocking all the major brands in the industry including, Holland Cooper, Fairfax & Favor, Schoffel plus many more.
The gunroom will be stocked with over 2000 guns from Browning right through to Perazzi, along with an extensive selection of air rifles, rifles and all the accessories a shooter would need.
We are also introducing meeting rooms equipped with the latest audio and visual technology, ideal for meetings of up to 60 people. A corporate facility second to none, featuring a stunning room with seating for up to 150 people.
Surrounding the clubhouse, we now have tarmac roads throughout, level tarmac firing positions with new cages and bins, and a new car park with increased capacity.
Our kitchen team will offer new menus and freshly prepared food available each day from open until close.

CLAY SHOOTING
Clay shooting is the popular and growing sport of shooting flying clay targets with a shotgun. It’s safe, exciting, challenging and fun. Hitting the target requires skill, timing and hand-eye coordination, but there’s nothing quite like that feeling when you pull the trigger and see the target explode into a million pieces!
At Eaton Hall we aim to provide the very best in clay pigeon shooting facilities. Following this we have been awarded the CPSA Premier Plus status.
